Dear Family and Friends,

It's been a few days since I've became a machine gunner in France and I feel like I've seen so much. I've gunned down over 40 soldiers on the opposing force. Over the days there was also over 60 soldiers who were brutally injured and half of them sadly passed away. Its surely been a lot that I've seen.

Luckily, I have my new friends Ronnie Lopez and James McDonald there for me. There both really cool and they are so funny. While it is very challenging and tough, I love the fact that I'm here serving this wonderful country of mine. This is the best thing I've done for myself in years. I think I'll never leave.
